Well, I guess it’s been over 6 months since I’ve last posted here, my my time flies. There’s just not as much time as there used to be I guess; and between regularly updating Arlo’s site and this one, Arlo always wins (he has a very demanding audience, i.e. my mother).
But Saturday morning I got a most wonderful surprise – Zoe brought him in to the bedroom (it was my turn to sleep in), plopped him on the bed beside me, where he flashed me a huge smile and while pushing his head towards me, said in a very clear voice, “Daaaaa Deeeee!”
It would almost qualify as his first word, except that he started saying “bubbles” about a week or so ago, which sounds something like “buh-buh”.
But it was, without a doubt, one of the best birthday presents I have ever received.
